The transition from Korea to Canada was not easy, but TBC ACADEMY helped me adjust. As an international student from Korea, getting used to the teaching style and teacher-student relationship in public schools was difficult. Still, because Apollo & ONLINE High School has a relatively small number of students per class, I was able to build a much stronger bond with my teachers because they genuinely care about their students. TBC teachers also helped me decide which universities I applied to and provided me with tutoring (e.g., IELTS and TOEFL classes) to improve my chances of being accepted. Without TBC ACADEMY, I would not have been accepted into the University of Waterloo's Computer Science program, and I am truly grateful for what they have done for me.
